RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT
This Risk Disclosure Statement provides important information about some of the risks associated with using the Services of the Company. The information provided is not exhaustive and may not reflect all the potential risks or factors you should consider. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You are strongly encouraged to seek independent financial or legal advice if needed. Your capital is at risk.
Terms not defined in this Statement shall bear the same meanings attributed to them in the Terms.
Using our Services may involve significant risks, including the possibility of substantial financial loss. Dealing in VFAs is speculative and highly volatile with prices fluctuating significantly within a short period due to market conditions, regulatory changes, technological developments and market sentiment.
Regulatory and Legal Risks
- Legislative and regulatory changes or actions at the state, federal, or international level may adversely affect the use, transfer, exchange, and value of VFAs.
- Many jurisdictions do not regulate VFAs to the same degree as traditional financial instruments, leaving limited protection for Customers.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and understanding the tax implications of your activities involving VFAs.
Market Risks
- Market availability and liquidity may be limited or disrupted, and there can be no guarantee that you would be able to sell or exchange your VFAs at any price.
- Whether the future market price for a VFA will move up or down or even sustain market value is a speculation and unknowable.
- Contingent orders, such as “stop-loss” or “stop-limit” orders, if permitted at all, may not necessarily limit losses to the expressed amount, and market conditions may make it impossible to execute an order or fulfil a transaction or to obtain the stop price.
- The Company makes no representations or warranties about whether a VFA will be supported by our Services or that those listed will always continue to be listed.
- Further, it is important to know that any VFA currently supported by our Services is subject to delisting without prior notice at the sole discretion of the Company.
Cybersecurity and Operational Risks
- Cybersecurity and fraud risks are heightened in the VFA space. VFAs are susceptible to cyber-attacks, fraud, and operational errors.
- Transactions in VFAs are typically irreversible, and, accordingly, losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions may not be recoverable.
- Safeguarding your private keys and backup phrases is your responsibility ; loss of these credentials may result in the permanent loss of funds, with no possibility of recovery.
- Additionally, VFAs may be affected by technical failures or attacks on blockchain networks, limiting access to or control over your holdings.
- The Company is not liable for losses resulting from technological issues outside its control.
By using the Company’s Services, you acknowledge these risks and accept full responsibility for managing your exposure.
This Risk Disclosure Statement cannot cover every potential risk and may be updated to reflect significant changes. Updated versions will be made available on our Website or other official communication channels.
